Covid Information

To maintain the archipelago’s low epidemiologic incidence and to guarantee the sustainability of touristic activity, the government of the Canary Islands requires touristic users older than 12 years old, who are coming from outside the Canary Islands, to present at the check-in of the establishment they are staying at, one of the following certificates:

  • A negative result of a PDIA (Prueba Diagnóstica de Infección Activa in Spanish, or Diagnostic Test of Active Infection in English), done within the maximum time frame of 72 hours.
  • Having received the complete vaccination regimen in the previous 8 months, accredited with an official document stating: vaccine received, number of doses, and date received.
  • Having received one dose, more than 15 days in advance and in the 4 months before travelling, accredited with an official document stating: vaccine received, date received.
  • Having had the disease less than 6 months before the date of travel, accredited with an official medical certificate or a public document stating the date in which you had the disease.

Exceptions

  • The person can prove their residency in the Canary Islands and has a responsible declaration that he or she has not left the Islands in the 15 days prior to their arrival in the establishment and that during said period, the person has not had symptoms compatible with those of Covid-19’s.
  • Non-residents in the Canary Islands that can prove with their travelling document, that they have stayed in the Canary Islands the 15 days prior to the access date to the establishment, and that declare that in said period, they have not had any symptoms compatible with those of Covid-19’s.
  • The person can prove having been outside of the Canary Islands for a time frame of fewer than 72 hours before their arrival, having stayed in their territory during the 15 days prior, and declaring that in said period, the person has not had symptoms compatible with those of Covid-19’s.

This touristic establishment will deny access to the person that does not comply with the conditions previously described. Exceptionally, and in case the person proves his/her willingness to get tested, we will inform the nearest authorised centre and will allow their access and overnight stay for the essential time needed to obtain the test results. Until then, the person will not be able to leave their accommodation unit.

It is compulsory to download and keep the RADAR COVID mobile infection alert application active during your stay on the islands and for 15 days immediately after your return to your place of origin.

As a consequence of the adaptation to the different regulations, some of our services may not be operative or restricted and depending on the occupancy at any given time, it may be necessary to book in advance to use some of our facilities or services such as restaurant, swimming pool or children’s areas. Smoking is not allowed and the use of a face mask is compulsory in all communal areas except when sitting at the table eating or drinking, lying in the hammock or swimming in the pool.

Terms and conditions of service

  • Please check that the information you have sent us is correct, paying particular attention to your e-mail address. If it is not correct, please inform us as soon as possible by telephone, fax or e-mail to correct the error.
  • Except in special cases, you will receive our confirmation of your request by e-mail within 24 hours. In the confirmation we will specify the total amount of the reservation including taxes.
  • Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Credit card details are used to guarantee the reservation. You will not be charged as you will pay directly at the hotel.
  • In the case of residents, the contribution of an ID card that includes the residence in the Canary Islands is required.
  • Children’s discounts apply to ages 2 to 16.
  • If you need a cradle for your baby, please indicate it in the comments. The cot is free of charge.
  • Please note that the maximum occupancy of the “Dolce Dúo” is 2 people, “Family Fun” is 4 people and the “Click & Clan” is 6 people, including babies.
  • Check-in after 17:00.
  • Check-out before 12:00.
  • Rates include taxes.
  • Animals are not allowed in the suite except for guide dogs.
  • Reservations of more than 5 rooms will be considered as a group, and must comply with the guarantee and cancellation conditions for groups that the hotel considers at each moment; therefore, the reservations that the hotel detects coming from the same client by means of the same credit card number, same name, same contact telephone, same e-mail, etc., will be considered group reservations.
  • The person making the reservation must be over 18 years old. Reservations in which all the occupants of the same accommodation unit are under 18 years old will not be accepted.
  • The “special requests or observations” section will be used to communicate to the hotel your needs and requests regarding the room and other services you have reserved. These requests are not confirmed by the hotel, although we will do our best to satisfy them.
  • In case of erroneous evaluations in our answers, these will always be subject to correction, and the user will have to pay the correct price for the services as published on the Web.
  • You can pay in cash or with the following cards: Visa, 4b, Mastercard or Maestro.
  • Although the occupancy rate for the dates of your stay is quite high, we will do our best to deliver your flat before 15.00 hrs.
  • The establishment may request a deposit on arrival in order to cover damages or inconveniences.
  • Remember! Our discounts and promotions such as Residence, Long Stay, Children, Early Booking and others, unless otherwise stated in the promotion, are not included in the total price of your booking and will be deducted when you make your payment at the hotel.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation of reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the date of arrival. Otherwise, APARTAMENTOS AGUAMAR will charge the credit card provided for this purpose the value corresponding to one night’s stay as a cancellation fee. Any expenses that may be incurred (bank commissions, credit institution commissions, mail, etc.) to make the total or partial refund of the deposit, if any, to a user, will always be at the user’s expense. The mere fact of making a reservation implies that the user expressly accepts that if the cancellation is not made 24 hours in advance, the card provided for this purpose will be charged the amount corresponding to one night’s stay.

Data protection

In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/99, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, we hereby inform you of the following:

The Personal Data collected will be subject to automated processing and incorporated into the corresponding automated files by APARTAMENTOS AGUAMAR, being PROMOCIONES TURISTICAS TINERFEÑAS S.L, with registered office at C/ Abani s/n 38.650 Los Cristianos, Arona, S/C de Tenerife, owner and responsible for this file (hereinafter “File”).

Except in the fields where the contrary is indicated, the answers to the questions on Personal Data are voluntary, without the lack of response implying a reduction in the quality or quantity of the corresponding services, unless otherwise indicated.

The personal data will be treated with the appropriate degree of protection, taking the legally necessary security measures to prevent its loss, deterioration, supply and access to unauthorized third parties. Nevertheless, the User must be aware that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.

PROMOCIONES TURISTICAS TINERFEÑAS S.L will use the data provided by the user to supply the services requested by the user.

Likewise, PROMOCIONES TURISTICAS TINERFEÑAS S. L will use the data supplied by the User to maintain the contractual relationship established with APARTAMENTOS AGUAMAR and, if the User consents, to inform the User of offers and promotions that the User may consider to be of interest, the management, administration, provision, extension and improvement of the services to which the User decides to subscribe or register, o to use the adaptation of said services to the preferences and tastes of the Users, the study of the use of the services by the Users, the design of new services related to said services, the sending of updates of the services, the sending, by traditional and electronic means, of technical, operational and commercial information about products and services offered by APARTAMENTOS AGUAMAR currently and in the future.

In the event that PROMOCIONES TURISTICAS TINERFEÑAS S.L. intends to transfer your data to third parties, it will first obtain your consent, identifying the company that is transferring the data and the third party, the type of activities to which it is dedicated and the purpose for which the transfer is made.
